I really enjoyed having my Butterfly fish. They are fairly docile and do well with other peaceful fish that are too large to be considered food items. As said...keep the tops covered and provide some floating cover for them to seek refuge in. Mine fed on crickets and FD Krill mostly.

Are ther any other types of fish? Exodons eat eachother, and my dad had a butterfly that attacked fish even larger than it's self

My Butterfly never bothered anything...it would probably be easier for you to find a fish that you are interested in, then research/ask questions pertaining to that specific fish. We could sit here naming fish all day long, but is that really helping any? Come up with some species you are interested in and I'll be glad to help however I can.

Ive never seen a Redfin pickerel over 11". They are a cold water fish, but are very cool as well. They are native where I live and I've caught quite a few of them. They are also very hard to get off of live foods.

If you are thinking of exodon, they will become pirahna food if the pirahna are adults, and if the pirahna are juvies, the exodon will likely eat the scales off them, killing them.Exodon will also eat each other if kept in schools.Nasty little fish.

I dont agree with that at all.. I have had a 150 with RBP and exodon and they were fine until i had a problem with the RBP vs RBP

Top entry in my oddball post, stickied in the other species forum, has information on keeping Butterfly Fish on the first entry.
