Well I decided since I couldn't quarantine the Perc...and I didn't want his growths falling off and spreading iridovirus (lymphocystis) DNA segments all over the aquarium. I decided to get another fish and give him up. I believe he was exposed before...and then when he came into a new environment it was enough for the virus to take hold...only theory...it is very hard to tell. I feel guilty about giving him up since I was becoming attached to his little crippled antics. But I made the decision in what's best for the overall tank. I do feel like a douche bag or flake for giving up on him though.
Anyway, here's the newb a Black Ocellaris ...he instantly made the Koralia his home...we'll see if it sticks
