You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.

So then my BH brought these two home, Beagle father and a Dachshund dabble mother. Guess this mix gives them an appetite to eat everything in the house, couch, chair, table legs, favorite book, etc...

Here's our 13 year-old Curly-coated retriever. He lost family room privileges for a while...but on Sat. I took him in to be groomed (too hard for my arthritis...lol...but I can still do the other three without my arms falling off)...he's a little fluffier than a Curly is supposed to be...but given his age, it's okay...

He was so HAPPY to get his 'pillow' back...

This is Snickers. He's just over four years of age but still thinks he's a puppy. 'Should've named him "Peter Pan." He's smart but stubborn like most mini-wiener dogs. BARKS AT EVERYTHING!!! OMG... and, YES, he does need a bone that big. He must've been a beaver in his previous life...

Beautiful chocolate fluff-ball you have there! I love how he's sprawled out so comfortably.

It's hard to comment on some dogs in this thread and not others as they're so darn adorable

Just posting another picture of my baby, Watson (a/k/a Power Wat, Wonder Wat, Wat.U.Is, and Baby Wat). He's going to get neutered tomorrow and has one retained testicle. We REALLY hope he doesn't have to spend overnight at the vets. He is such a momma's boy and big time my baby. Love him so much and even though I've had many, many animals fixed w/o issue (even lending a hand for gelding horses), I will be worried about Watson tomorrow and can't wait to bring him back home:

[QUOTE=Sarkazmo] He's smart but stubborn like most mini-wiener dogs. QUOTE]

You'Ve got a good looking dog there and I have to say that Dachshunds are my favorite dogs, smart and have to be in the top 3 when it comes to being stubborn.

Had one when I was a child and a St Bernard could come in our yard and that wiener dog would jump it, he didn't care how big they were, they weren't coming in his yard. Can't tell you how many times that dog had to get sewed up.

    Kazenouta: Thanks!

    I agree too...they're all adorable.

Jill: Hope his castration goes well...they generally do...

Sarkazmo: Adorable! Mine also gets the big-dog bones...she doesn't need one that big...but it does the trick and I don't have to make extra purchases just for her...
