I received a pair of these mini-boas, Candoia paulsoni tasmai, back in early July. I just recently got a couple pics. Very mellow critters, sort of like ball pythons in the regard that they hardly move when picked up and handled. I asked the seller whether they were CB or WC imports, and she didn't know, had picked them up at a Repticon show and was downsizing her collection. Considering their easygoing attitude I suspect they were CB, though the price for the pair was about what I typically see for a single recently imported specimen. Not to mention that they eat mice, and from what I've gathered WC typically have to be switched from lizards. Not too active, with slow metabolisms, they likely won't need any larger enclosures than the tubs they're in now.

The female is, of course, the larger of the two. She spends quite a bit of time soaking in the water bowl. I snapped a couple pics of the male earleir, and found her curled up in her cave. (Cichlid stones are much more useful for snakes than fish IME, lol.) WHen I checked again hours later, she was in the water bowl, and like many snakes had pooped:

Sitting on the shelf while I clean and refill the water bowl:

The male, on the other hand, doesn't spend nearly as much time soaking. He usually hangs out on the shelf above the heat mat, they seem to prefer a little cooler temp unless digesting a meal:

No clue, I've never weighed any of my snakes. Suppose I really should start keeping track of them all, had planned to with the baby Dominicans at least.
