Do fish get bloated???
Do fish get bloated. Im having a problem with nitrites and was noticing some of my fishies bellies seem really big sometimes and then they dont the next day. was wondering if it was a sign of something besides the obvious pregnant ones.

Oh ya they can get bloated.... It could kill them... If you think your fish are bloated feed pees that you took the outside shelling off. If you are having nitrites problems do more W/C, matter of fact do one now :)

Good advice from above poster but feeding less is another problem solver. Doesn't hurt fish one bit to have a day of fasting. Livebearers especially tend to be hogs and over eat.
