I went to buy crickets today,,,,,Oh my,,,,,,,,RATS!
Well they had 3 dumbo rats at the pets shop I get my crickets and they had a nice cage to go along with them.Introducing Darcy,Bolt and yet to be named!

They are already very tame and love being handled I wanted to get bucks but all the had were does.thats ok.

LOL My wife was sitting near me until I opened up this thread!
That was funny,she can't stand them.I think they are cool when they are tame.
Your daughter looks thrilled! Thats good timing for a great find!
It really heals the blues.
How does your wife feel about handling them? She doesn't look all that thrilled, but at least she's willing to hold it!

Hehe just the idea of getting a rat, makes me laugh at how my family would react to it. probably wouldn't get past the front door to the house.

Aww they are so cool! You will love them. They are the friendliest of creatures ever.
I had 2 before just regular ones and they lived to 3 years and the other to 3 and a half years. They had a 4' tank and used to be let out to run around my room nearly every night! lol
50G Tank - Kyathit Danios, Zebra Danio, Swordtails, Silver Hatchetfish, Platy, Gold Barbs, Cherry Barbs, Bolivian Rams, Apisto, Zebra Loaches.
20G 'Nano Fish' Tank - Pygmy Rasboras, Lampeyes, Sparkling Gouramis, CPD, Bronze Corydoras, Cherry Shrimp
Wanted: More CPD's and Loaches.
