My perc is a picky eater...
I have tried frozen brine/spirulina, frozen krill, and now NLS small fish. He ate some when my powerhead was off while it was still floating on the surface...but then began spitting it out as well. The Nemo fish is pretentious and quite the snob. I don't want to have to chop up raw prawn just to feed him... What a pretty little jerk he is. Any suggestions...should I mandate a mandatory fast...so he'll take what ever I give him?

Ask the LFS that you got it from what they fed it, and try feeding it that (then wean it off of that if you want to feed it something different).
How long have you had this fish?

I have found that with saltwater fish the NLS flakes are much better than the pellets. They don't seem to notice the pellets at all.

Regarding NLS pellets, it depends on the fish in question as well as their conditioning into accepting it or not.
All of my marine fish eat NLS pellets, even a SW puffer I have (which I expected to completely ignore them, as the pellets are intended for its tank mates, but he also eats flakes so go figure). But the LFS that I obtained most of my fish from were fed ORA pellets, among other stuff, (so going after NLS pellets wasn't a far leap for them).

My LFS feeds frozen mysis shrimp to their salt water livestock. I had to ween my ocellaris off over the course of a few weeks and got it to eat NLS pellets. It gets kind of snobby about feeding sometimes and won't take anything but NLS pellets now.

Our larger clown would only eat frozen brine shrimp when we got her while my smaller one from petco would eat pellets and shrimp. After 2 days of feeding, I started slowly mixing in pellets with the shrimp until I noticed her taking pellets, so now they both eat thm and only get shrimp on occasion.
