Well he's back down in that area so there are some red flags coming up...my NH3 reading is quite different than yesterday I can't tell if it is tan or fluorescent yellow. I looked at the charts on the computer because I lost mine and I really can't accurately distinguish where I am at...it could be anywhere from about 0 to .50 ppm ....not good. My Nitrites are zero along with my NO3 is at 15 ppm. I am going to the LFS and getting some more seawater to do an emergency water change. I might spend 16 bucks on some more biospira just to make sure. So I am hoping that I am just paranoid...Update...when I put the NH3 color on a white backgrond on the other charts and look at the color on the computer...it simply just looks closer to 0 than everything else. Just puzzled

A water change wouldn't hurt. I would take your SW in and get it tested, to get a better check on your levels.

My clown did a similar thing when I switched it from my old 15 gallon to my new tank. It hung around the bottom near a rock and did a sort of shimmy dance on the bottom glass kicking up some sand. Was from breaking up it's old territory in the previous tank. I would just keep some extra saltwater ready at all times and test the parameters and do waterchanges as needed rather then dump a bunch more biospira.

Do you think a SG of 1.026 could cause this behavior. The seawater comes at this SG...I don't have much evaporation so it stays at this level with minimal top-off.
