my blue 3 spot dwarf gourami leaves my snails alone. Even when theya re surfing the top of the water.

so far, nothing in the tank pays attention to the snails, only when I feed them and the goldies are poking around for food do they get a little bit poked. the plecos are doing a great job with the leaves and I don't think algea will be a problem, I got a little spooked when we started getting a little, but I don't think the light is on enough for any serious blooms (only 8 hours a day) so I might not do the shrimp and just stick with the snails. they don't clean the leaves as good as I had hoped, but they clean up the dead plant crud on the bottom pretty well. thanks for all the help!
