red spots on yellow tang
I have a 56 gal marine tank with live rocks, yellow tag, maroon clown, cleaner wrasse, orchid dottyback and a bengai cardinal.
I just noticed my yellow tang starts to have red spots all over it's body.
Can any body tell me what this spots are? Are they bad for the yellow tang? How do I get rid of it?
Thanks.

This is a bacterial infection which can be easy to treat and sometimes not.
improve water quality, along with an examination of the filtration system and necessary improvements for long term stability, is sufficient to clear this up in several days if they dont seem to be getting better or are getting worse use these antiboitics but please try to use them in a QT or Quaratine Tank.
Nitrofuran or Kanacyn IME. For those using Spectogram without any results I would suggest switching to Kanacyn as Nitrofuran is an ingredient in Spectrogram.
