  1. Default Red Zebra Holding

    0 Not allowed!
One of my red zebras is holding as we speak (or as I type I guess). I have her in the fry tank now so I guess I'm just going to wait a few weeks until she spits. I'll keep you guys updated and try to get some pictures and maybe even some video of her tumbling the eggs. Such an exciting time lol!

Now one of my Yellow Labs is holding too. Can I put both of the holding fish in the same tank? I don't have a second holding tank.

It is always so exciting when you see your fish having babies for you! We still have some demasoni and acei babies waiting for new homes...hopefully with a friend of ours.

Try them together, most likely they won't bother eachother. The only problem will be when one has dropped and the other is still holding. Even then you just have to get the one out that has dropped because as long as the other is still holding she shouldn't bother any fry in there.

My red zebra spit today then put all the fry back in her mouth and now she is tumbling them again. What's going on?

Well I don't know if it was for good but she didn't snatch them up when I took the pictures.
