this is driving me crazy
90g tank, 1 red devil, 1 jack dempsey, 2 bala sharks, 1 black shark, 2 pacus, 1 severum, 1 leporinus. somebody is constantly chrewing the rubber off of my power cords, ive lost 3 $30 powerheads to the fish and now i just found my 3 week old filters cord chewed up. who's doing it?

Really weird. I have no idea, I think maybe it could be just about any of them. Maybe more likely to be the devil?
8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

I'm not sure either but with your stock I would get moving with the 650g you were talking about.
50G Tank - Kyathit Danios, Zebra Danio, Swordtails, Silver Hatchetfish, Platy, Gold Barbs, Cherry Barbs, Bolivian Rams, Apisto, Zebra Loaches.
20G 'Nano Fish' Tank - Pygmy Rasboras, Lampeyes, Sparkling Gouramis, CPD, Bronze Corydoras, Cherry Shrimp
Wanted: More CPD's and Loaches.

Its just one wire then hey?
If both wires were exposed, would that be an immediate death of all the fish?

What about putting a piece of plastic tubing over the cord.It'll save you a few bucks!

That's a good idea, or put them a hard plastic tube like a modified uptake tube. One of your fishies has suicidal tendencies...have you thought about therapy?

Those cords will disintegrate if your ph is too high.
But seriously, won't the pacu outgrow your tank? Not to mention the bala sharks. My guess is the culprit would be one of the sharks or pacu. In my experience with sevs they have never done that. But, all fish are different.
54 gallon corner tank:
