Hello From Vancouver, Canada
New member here, posted a few threads for help already and thought I would swing my the lounge to say hi. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and currently have 2 tanks and 2 dogs. One dog is a 6 year old Pit Bull/Australian cattle dog mix, the second one is a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both of them great dogs, can't imagine living without them.
I have a 55G FW tank with a Piranha, Chuck. Recently I found out he is even older than I thought. My friend got him 18 years ago and he was already full grown, which means he (or I suppose she) may be pushing 20! He shares the tank with his little feeder friends, golden apple snals, zebra snails, ramshorn snails, and some other type of snails which must have been a stow-away.
My wife has a 35G FW hexagon tank with two lionhead goldfish, Orange and Lemon. This is a tank we just recently set up again and I have had some issues cycling it. Seems to be turning around so I think the two goldies are happy.

Thanks!
I should add that I have two 'dream' tanks I would love to set up. First would be a 90G or so bowfront planted tank with Discus. I love the look of a nice planted tank with various plants top to bottom. Also, I think Discus are some of the most beautiful freshwater fish out there.
The second tank would be a large 150G or so marine tank. I'm an avid diver and love the ocean. The variety and colour available in the marine habitats is staggering. I also love the different invertebrates, there is so much to look at in a well designed and maintained marine tank.
