Palyotha
What is this palyotha doing? It looks like its budding or something. I didn't notice it until this morning. Usually new ones would form at the base and get bigger, but this one is doing something different, and its not what they look like when they close up at night either. I'm hopeing its a good thing. Its the bubble looking growth on one of them

When they do that, they're trying to rid themselves of an irritant (grain of sand or something like that); basically trying to clean itself off.
edit: I might be commenting on the wrong polyp.
Are you able to annotate the polyp in question?Last edited by kaybee; 10-23-2008 at 09:43 PM.
