New Synspillum with Attitude
So, today I purchased a male synspillum, added him into my tank with my oscar and brasiliensis. My oscar is about 3 times it's size and the brasil at least twice as big - but damn it the little bugger keeps nipping at the brasil - it had a go at Red (oscar) but Red didnt take his crap so he's backed off. My brasiliensis is the most placid fish and doesn't fight back - any suggestions - do you think it will settle down - I know its trying to stamp it's authority in the tank the little SH**
Tank 1
2 shubunkins,1 fantail,1 feeder
Tank 2
1 gibby plec, 1 oscar, 1 brasiliensis
Tank 4
2 corys,1 gold gourami,1 gold severum, 1 green severum, 3 algae eaters, 1 convict,
about 15 kribs, 2 widow tetra,4 glowlight tetra, 3 congo tetra
Tank 4 - Aggro - the jaguar & Psycho - the synspillum

Bad Bad Bad News
Well this new fish I purchased is the DEVIL! This morning I got up and my brasiliensis (Flick) whom is twice the size of this synspillum (which I think is x with a texas - not positive) has attacker her so much that the brasil was upside down on te top of the tank. I have now removed her and put her in a hospital tank and tried to keep her upright with some slate on an angle so she doesn't go upside down. She's breathing well now and isn't as stressed but shes got nips out of her everywhere - so I've spent all morning balling my eyes out and I am taking that damn fish back!
I made caves and the synspillum goes and hides but then pops out and would just obviously keep attacking - it gave up on Red - my oscar though as he's 3 times the size - but I could see Red looking for Flick in the hospital tank - do you think she'll survive? Should I perhaps put the DEVIL in with Aggro my jag and see how they go?? Or, should I take it back to the damn pet store that said this DEVIL FISH was not that aggressive???
I did take pics of them all but didn't get time to upload so I'll do it tonight.Tank 1
2 shubunkins,1 fantail,1 feeder
Tank 2
1 gibby plec, 1 oscar, 1 brasiliensis
Tank 4

about 15 kribs, 2 widow tetra,4 glowlight tetra, 3 congo tetra
