Thanks for this list. Someone had persuaded me that 3 clown loaches would work out fine in a future 55-gallon tank. I'm sorely bummed. But, better to be bummed in the planning stage.... The sore bums would be the loaches if they tried to spin around at 16" long in a tank like that.

is the guy who built the tank Canadian? the cement truck at 1:15 has a red maple leaf on it

i would also include any kind of knife fish, as they grow quite large and need special conditions to keep.10g- planted freshwater
10 gallon freshwater, planted tank
1 Redigobius balteatus (rhinohorn goby), 2 Trichopsis pumila (sparkling gourami), 5 mircorasbora erythromicron (emerald dwarf rasbora), 1 Celestichthys margaritatus (celestial pearl danio), 1 Dermogenys pusilla (wrestling halfbeak), 6 amano shrimp
lots o malayn needle point snails
3g- freshwater
java moss

I see the common pleco is on the list, I am a beginner and there was one with the aquarium that I bought, any suggestions as to what I should do with it? Right now it is about 6 inches. I have a 29G tank that it is in (the one it came with) and am getting a 55G.
