Oscars should really be on the list, because they are probably one of the most abused fish out there.
But at the same time, oscars should not be added because they area actually very good beginner fish....with the right tank size. Hmmmmm.......I don't know.

Clown Loaches- This is a very misunderstood fish. They are sold as single fish which is doing them harm right there, they are sold for to small of tanks. They should be sold in groups and for a tank no smaller then a 150 because of there size and needing to be in groups. They can reach up to 16 inches.
Goldfish- Please do not keep in anything less then 25 gallons of water! Please never buy a fish bowl in any situation. There are many many different kinds of goldfish that have been selectively bred into looking how they do. They goldfish is known to be easy to keep and so what but they are not. Since there size and there poop making ability's you need to over filter to keep the aquarium clean. They get around 14 inches long which is why they should not be kept in a anyhitng smaller then 25 GALLONS.
Red Belly Piranha- I don't no where to start. Everybody had this picture in there head of a blood thirsty fish that eats a person alive. Let me tell you there not. The only time i have seen a piranha mean is during feeding. I say a min. size tank for them is 100 gallons. That is because they get big and like groups of them. It may differ between Piranha though.
Is there a way a mod could put this into my first post on this thread?

Pirahnas became vicous and man eating in Tarzan movies! I believe that is when they became killers.
I still remember the scene where the bad guy held a leg of meat in a pirahna pool and he pulled out a bone! The movie Pirahna!
Its all a hollywood thing.
Look at what they did for sharks."JAWS" I am surprised they stopped at 3.
