    can i put plants in my tank it has water full to the top with no fish in it atm
    10g 6 guppies, 4 golden snails.

    You can, but I highly recommend taking some water out. If it's really full to the TOP you'll have a mess.
    75 gallon planted
    5 gallon planted betta
    Lack of planning on your part doesn't justify an emergency on my part.

    Yes you can.

    And it's easier. You can space them more correctly with they are upright now floppy over.

    Not to mention, it's nice to have something alive in your tank while waiting for it to cycle...

    While its not a necessity, you may want to disinfect the plants prior to putting them in your main tank. A 20 minute dip in a potassium permanganate will suffice. The solution should be dark pink and not purple. Post the dip wash the plants throughly in a dechlorinated water. That will remove any residual pp.
