Not happy with 42g
I am really not satisfied with the setup in my 42g...
I have the fish that are in my sig. I have one 12" fake plant whihc really stands out and looks fake, I have an awsome piece of driftwood that has nothing nice near it and their are rocks and shells scattered everywhere...
I can't give away the balas yet. They are still quite small, and my toddler sibling owns the smaller one. He would be willing to give it away when its a bigger but at the moment he says "Rosy is still a baby"
The corys don't school and only come out at night basically. Kuhli comes out all the time and is very happy. The Glowlights hang near the bottom and are very peaceful/don't school.
I am pretty happy with the fish - if not the quantity of some species.
The overall look of the tank is whats bugging me. I only have a 2ft fluro light - but its left on till late at night and turns back on at early in the morning (its on a timer)
What should I do to make it more pleasant?
Is their anything I can do about the quanitiy of fish in the species?
Any ideas of how I can make my tank look much better?

Does it have a background? If not, some black contact on the ack of the tank can really improve the look of it.
I'd also look into getting heaps of live plants, as most fish love plants and they will improve your water quality.

Plants are your buddies. They make you happy, when you tank is crappy!
I used to be sooooo unhappy with my tank, I could almost cry. It took maybe about three weeks fro me to fully enjoy it. I took my rear down to Petcos, and bought a lot of plants, the total sum cost about $20. I placed them in the tank, and I was happy once more!
Good luck buddy!Ninjas! Thousands of them!

+1 on the plants
I was scared to take the jump to plants but it improved the looks of my little 10 dramatically.
A few pieces of java fern attached to the driftwood and some taller plants in the background would do wonders.

Thanks Dave but it didn't say how many corys she has. 5 is a good but small amount of corys.
Is there anything else that you want in your tank?
Where are the pics? I really like pics as they do say so much!!Ray
