New Setup: 50 Gal

Well I decided to build a proper tank and stand, below are some pics.
The stand is built with 2x4's amd plywood
The tank is a 50 gal

Fish: Male and Female Jack Dempsey's
Filter: Tetra /Second Nature Whisper Triad Power Filter
100 watt heater
Live plants/Moss

I would like to add some plants that float could anyone give me some ideas, I know little about tropical freshwater plants.


I am still constructing the rock caves for inside the habitat I had to silicone the rocks together I was worried the fish would knock them into the glass.

I originally had the male in there and noticed the beautiful female at a local shop and had to spend the 20 bucks, as soon as I put her in they started locking lips.
