the magnets cost so much more tho... With the koralias, it already comes with the magnet stuff, so it's all worth it...
But Seios are good. Really high output....10 Gallon Reef

I found a cheaper alternative then getting a new powerhead/wavemaker. I just need to double check if it is SW tank safe. Its a simple plastic clamp. Here is a link. Let me know if you think it is safe.
The tank isn't as cloudy 24 hours later, but it is nowhere near cleared up.Stock the tank you have, not the tank you plan to have. Always have and use patience.

- 55g SW - Blue Watchman Goby, Royal Gramma, 6-Line Wrasse, 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, and various corals and inverts
For those of you who want a SW tank and never have had one before or just starting out, read this blog entry from my blog on AC, it will give you a place to start.

I'm pretty sure that I didn't ask how it would look, and the light fixture on the tank will hide pretty much all of the clamp. I was just wondering if the clamp would be SW aquarium safe.

For clearing up the water, maybe try running a small powerhead with a piece of pipe into a funnel with some filter floss in and back into the tank.

The tank is clearing nicely on its own. Give it another 24 to 48 hours and it will be ready for another picture for you guys and gals. It looks like I'm going to have a very, very deep sand bed, but I still need to level it out somewhat. The clamp doesn't appear to have any metal in the water, and very little of the clamp is in the water anyway.

A Koralia Nano would take up less room in the tank than a Maxijet. And IMO is perfect for a 10 gal. Koralia will also break up the flow a bit so you don't have one quick jet stream like with the maxi. Just put it in a back corner pointed toward a front corner and slightly upward.
