20lbs would be alright
one thing i would personally do is move the piece of rock at the back right, it looks unnatural standing up. the one on the left looks good though

You do realize just how for those stick out from the glass right? They are not small powerheads.

Even the nano Koralia is that big?

Well, I took the risk knowing this would happen. I didn't rinse the sand out. It is a cloudy mess. I was smart enough to turn the powerhead off while I added it. As soon as the cloudiness settles, there will be another picture.Last edited by travie; 10-04-2008 at 01:09 PM.
Stock the tank you have, not the tank you plan to have. Always have and use patience.

For those of you who want a SW tank and never have had one before or just starting out, read this blog entry from my blog on AC, it will give you a place to start.

Does that include the mount and the swivel arm or is that just the powerhead?

Just the main body.
With the mount and protective grid-thing (or total length when using everything included), the Koralia 1 measures out to 5".

At this point, as long as it doesn't stick out any farther then my MaxiJet and doesn't use suction cups, it is an upgrade. The suction cups are working for... nothing.

I know I'm shouting the praises of the SEIO range, but they are very compact and you can get them with magnetic braces. So no suction cups
