I am looking for instructions on building a canopy. can anyone point me in the right direction please
29gl [COLOR="RoyalBlue"]4 blue mickey mouse platies 20gl hex 9 female bettas 1 albino pleco
1 20 gallon
3 serpae tetras
2 head and tail light tetras
1 delta tail betta in the 20 gl

I have not seen a step by step thread on this either
Below is how I built my canopy. It's not really a step by step instruction, but it might give you a few ideas

Here is one that I did. It works best on smaller tanks.

Here is a very detail diy canopy.
The one that I built myself is very similar to this one.
I just finished this yesterday. I kinda combined the two ideas above. I built a skeleton frame and covered it with thin lauran wood. I only used one set of hinges to open the hood. However, to perform major maintenance or clean the filter I have to take the canopy off.
