  1. Default Ghost shrimp with a male betta?

I'm wanting some ghosts to eat the fish poo off the sand in my tank, but it has a male betta in it.

Would the betta kill the ghosts?

It really depends on the Betta itself. Is he really aggressive or is he more laid back? Try it out and see. If the Betta nips at the shrimp, just take him out. Let us know how it goes.

Ok, I'll try it, he's a pretty laid back betta, doesn't really go after my hand when I feed him like some I've had.

Should be a rather fun experiment either way..... muhahahahahaha!!!

    Brutality!

Ghost shrimp don't eat fish waste like that. What nutritional value would they gain from it? If you get ghost shrimp be sure to actually feed them.

Lol, like I said, let us know how it goes. I would love to experiment like that with my female bettas with my guppies, but it seems every female betta I get is always aggressive... lol.

DUH! I'm retarded. I don't know what I was thinking...

I meant eat the food that the betta doesn't eat...
