Help!!! 6 million dollar question?
Now that I have your attention...lol I meant 6 million dollar as it is a very important question for me...hehehe
I found a larger tank but it is only 135 gallon. How long do you think it will last with the following fish in it?:
(1) 9 inch Jardini
(1) 8 inch clown knife
(1) 8 inch Pleco
(1) 6 Inch elec catfish
(1) 6 Inch Needle Gar
(1) 8 inch POLYPTERUS ENDLICHERI
The largest tank I could find in my budget range right now is the 135 Gallon
How long do you guys think I can keep the above fish in a tank that size before I need a larger tank?
And no to all the wise guys who I'm sure will ask: you will not get 6 million dollars for answering this question...lol In fact your only reward will be a very fond thank you and the knowledge that you made some fish very happy...lol

i would say maybe 3-4 months in a 135g. lots of those fish are fast growers and will need huge tanks. that total stock is going to need a 500g+ tank fullgrown

Yup
I was afraid of that. I know a lot of them slow down at a certain size so I was hoping someone knew when that was. As far as the final size I was gonna go with 240 Wide. Would be kinda tight but should work out as long as I get a 240 Wide (72 x 30 x 25).

yes...however
Look at the added space its really only @ 6 inches up and deep. That can be handled with proper filtration. I really do not see much value in such a minor increase in swimming area.
