Ok i saw the ones that sit in the bottom so I'm guessing they are true moss balls. I think I'm going to get one of those also.

Has anoyone tried Golden Clams? Arizona Aquatics sells them. They look interesting.

Heres two of my tanks (all low light with live plants no ferts or co2)

    50gallon 0.4 wpg

    7.5gallon 1.1wpg

You can see that people are wrong in saying 2wpg won't grow much.

50G Tank - Kyathit Danios, Zebra Danio, Swordtails, Silver Hatchetfish, Platy, Gold Barbs, Cherry Barbs, Bolivian Rams, Apisto, Zebra Loaches.
20G 'Nano Fish' Tank - Pygmy Rasboras, Lampeyes, Sparkling Gouramis, CPD, Bronze Corydoras, Cherry Shrimp
    Wanted: More CPD's and Loaches.

Cherry Shrimp love the java moss, hornwort, and moss ball in my 20g tank. All of those plants appear to be flourishing in there...30w of light, I add neither ferts or CO2.

Contrast that with my 55g to which I have about 150w of light, seachem dosing plan on ferts and no CO2...which results in an algae fest.

    Ah thanks!!!

Yeah I looked at your blog-site Tolley and saw your tanks, theyre beautiful.

The vet visit didn't cost anything, but he is having surgery in two weeks. So I have money for sure to get plants now. I might go later on today, I'm excited!

I have a betta and 2 snails in there right now.

The snails love the baby tears and the moss ball, are they going to ruin them at all???
