Please Help!!!!!

hi everyone today i went out to my australian native tank and noticed something strange i thought i saw it the other day on my eel tail but i thought he just ijerd him self well i looked at my other fish my 2 sleepy cods and they have the same thing but worse it seems to be a burn i think but i could be wrong the shape of he injery is the same on the others but this sleepy cod that i have the photos of has it the worst its a huge peice and u can se all he muscle and all the meaty stuff inside

i treated with melafix today if i should stop with the melafix please tell me

if any body could plz help my fish thanks heep

heater burns maybe??

Looks like heater burn to me as well. If i'm not mistaken i think Melafix may be harmful to some scaleless fish.

I used to have a fire eel that had gotten heater burn pretty badly. All i can say is to get a heater cover and do frequent water changes to try staving off infections.
