My Astatotilapia latifasciata
Got my camera back from our daughter so I could finally get a pic of the new fish. I got 2 males and 2 females. The one male isn't quite as colorful as the other since I put them in the same tank but when they were in seperate tanks they were both colored up nice. Oh and one of the females is holding:19 I'm trying not to get my hopes up though. I'm not sure about these but with mbuna they don't always hold to full term their first time or two.

Thanks y'all. I think it's pretty too. The common name for them isn't much easier ... zebra obliquidens. I think the names of most fish are hard and if you don't hear them pronounced, how are you going to know if you're saying them right lol. I'm sure I would sound really stupid asking for a certain fish. I'd most likely write it down and say "got any of these" ha ha ha.

Very pretty fish! I hear ya about the fish names, I took Latin for 3 years in hopes to be able to understand and pronounce scientific names etc. Yeah... not much help ten years later. LOL
