    Default Tank mates??

I understand that any species that are even remotely similar to the fighters are a no go for tank mates, but I'm considering adding a peppered cory or two in with the little guy. They're only young cory's, and my fighter's had his tank to himself for a few months now so I'm a little hesitant. Any thoughts anyone?

I have 2 bettas. One will not allow tankmates of any kind and the other loves the company of a trio of albino corys. Really depends on the fish. Go for a trial but be ready to evacuate them if need be.

Agreed also with Squirt that the tank size matters a lot.
    8 tanks running now:
    1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

peppered cories are compatible but they are recommended to be in groups of 6 or more.... But yeah, we need to know how big the tank is.

24 liters, or about 6.4 gallons.

There's room in there for a small school of corys, yes.

I think 6 would be just fine provided 40-50% weekly water changes.
