well I have been doing alot of research to find out how to best maintain them, they are loving creatures. They just come with a high care tag. I have them in a 29 gal with black sand, just got it. I have 2 penguin 200's running and there was an opening. I noticed they kept vanishing. when I moved my stand they were sadly on the floor.. so now I know better. They statistics never said they were jumpers. so now I keep them in a brakish water tank with mid lighting. with some other fish. they are kool to watch at night.

it says on your profile you have a 20 gallon tank with an aquatech 5-25 and a penguin 200... If it's 20, its bad for the goby, because it's growth would be stunted... They get more than a foot..... so yeah

    Hi, Welcome here.
Those fishes are fun, but they need lots of space.
I'm not sure a 29 gal will be sufficient. At the end, I think you'll need to upgrade it to a 55 gal.
    ....
And I just saw that you intend to do it... Sorry, don't have my coffee this morning...

So, when are going to show us some pics of your friend???
