RES Keeper
Hello All,
I am new in this hobby. I bought 2 Red Eared Sliders last week in plastic container but they do not seem so happy so I bought an aquarium. This made them happy. They are swimming like fish. By the way they are so small now. Almost 2 inches I do not know their genders. I started. Sooo relaxing hobby. I have a 15 Ga. Tank with 2 Big stones in it. A filter and a heater. They look so happy. I want them to be much more happy so I want top ask you a few things but since here is introduction I will ask in their private forums.
See you

Hi,
I have actually never introduced myself here, but I am an RES owner too. I love my little guy. There are a couple of forums that are great and specific to turtles redearslider.com and austinsturtlepage.com. Both are excellent resources.
My turtle has peaked an interest in aquariums and fish in general. I have gotten the bug!! I have some livebearers, a pleco and danios in the tank with the turtle. While normally turtles eat anything in the tank - this one is too lazy to be bothered (for now anyway). Aside from the livebearers I am thinking about setting up a cichlid tank. Killifish also interest me. So I am here to learn more about other species of fish!
So welcome. Folks here are helpful!
