  1. Question HELP re Worm Infestation

Confused how to treat 5 & 10 gln tanks for worms (small white threadlike)--NOT on freshwater fish themselves. Assumed parasites & pet store had me get QuickCure, treated 2 days but got worse. Then told might be snail eggs/larvae (both tanks have snails) or leeches & treat w/CopperSafe after removing ALL gravel, etc. Haven't done that yet & not sure what to do. If snails & no danger to fish, I'd rather wait & remove manually later. Goldfish in 10, Guppies in 5 with 1-wk-old fry so don't want to stress them out even further or mess up newly cycled tanks, both less than 2 mos.

It sounds to me like it could be planaria, which are often found when you're overfeeding. I wouldn't try treatments for them as they're not harmful, but regular water changes + gravel vac should help (I'm not sure what your water changes at the moment are like)
