Live food?
The fish stores around me do not sell any live food. I would love to feed my fish live food but can't find anything other than feeders and those are to big for my fish. I tried night crawlers tonight and the goldfish didn't even give it a taste. The cory's started picking at it, but at the rate they go, it would be rotted before it was done. It there any way you can buy live food online or should i get some sort of fish that reproduces fast and easy and use the fry? I'm open to any suggestions. Also when I find some live food, how many times a week could i feed it to them?

There are some online sites. I am not sure of there names though. Getting guppys would give lots of fry. For the best cheapst way though, get a small cup of water and leave it outside, wait for mosquitoes to lay there eggs and when they hatch into larve feed them to the fish, its very nutricous and easy to do.

The mosquitoes larve would be great and I'll try that this week, but by the end of August the mosquitoes are gone till around May. I'll try crickets but they may be a little big for even my fancies at this point, but once they grow more they will be perfect.
As far as guppies go, i have an extra 5 gallon tank, and a community tank to separate males from females when i don't need fry, so i may try that. I'll read up on breeding guppies and maybe i'll give that a try, unless there is another option.

Our fish stores don't have much at all, and I've never seen any shrimp at any of them, well petsmart did but they were a little on the big side, unless they can be bred eaisly.

You can usually get crickets in various sizes. Micro crickets are less then 2mm.

I've a six part manual with instructions how to culture a number of organisms to feed to your fish. Here's a link to Part 6, as it has links to the previous five installments at the bottom.

We decided to go for guppy. We put our 4 remaining tiger barbs into our 5 gallon until we can return them to the fish store (they have been giving us many problems). We purchased 2 females and 1 male and put them into our ten gallon. We were looking for a colorful fish to replace the barbs anyways so the guppies are perfect, the fry will be an added bonus, and a learning experience as we were wanting to get into breeding anyways. We will use the 5 gallon as a fry tank and have been doing research on breeding. Thanks for all of the help and i will look into those small crickets and I'm going to look into the things mentioned in your manual Dave66
