  1. Default Stocking Suggestion...

Currently I have 5 Panda Corys, 2 otos, 1 juvie BNP, 10 Cardinals, 2 juvie female A Cacatuoides, 1 maturing male Cacatuoides, ~ 4 Amano shrimp. My GBR I got for free the other day slipped into darkness...somehow egotistically I thought I could nurse it into full health. My LFS guy warned me and said the shipment was bad and he lost them all as well as a few other species. He was more steamed over the SW...He said he would be reimbursed for it. That's why I got my Ram for free. Anyway...I wanted suggestions on what I could add. Dwarf Gourami's are an automatic no...something about my tank makes them homicidal...it is bizarre. Oh yeah, it is a heavily planted 24 gallon aquapod...it has awesome filtration and I do a weekly 20% water changes. I was wanting some suggestions. Maybe 6 Rasboras...or a pretty chill single fish...lemon tetras...I don't know gimme some feed back...what do you experts think
And it's the ocean flowing in our veins
Oh..That it's the salt that's in our tears
Oh..Cause we could have come so very far

More than one type of schooling fish usually looks untidy. I would suggest sticking with one type of schooling fish, so add to the school you already have. I must say your tank already seems untidy with a lot of different fish, each of which could be your centre piece fish. I would also add 2 more ottos.

  4. Default

Yeah, I'll probably leave it alone. I am not worried about a centerpiece. I simply want to keep a nice FWP SA community tank. It is good the way it is...except the Amano shrimp are from a different continent. I just use them for the GOOD work they do. As far as not being organized...I would beg to differ. No need to be modest...I would have to say it is a pretty decent tank the way it is. I won't throw a wrench at it. It brings the room together...sort of like Jeffery Lebowski's rug. Thanks for your feedback. I just wanted to bounce my great ideas off somebody else. My great ideas often turn to disasters. Two more otos would be the safest plan if I get a wild hair...Cheers and Peace
