Problem with airline tubing T-valve
I recently hooked my airline tubing to a cheap plastic T-valve, and the pump(decent pump, too) would only service air to one tube at a time, and whichever tube's end was highest was the tube that bubbled. Also, if I have one bare tube touching the bottom of the tank, and the other tube with an airstone on it only an inch below the surface, the pump will do anything but service air to an airstone. I really want to figure this whole thing out so I can position all my tanks together, and start using air-driven sponge filters all connected to one pump, to save energy.

Sounds like the pump is not strong enough to push the air all the way through both lines simultaneously.
8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon

you need a pump with two outlets.

Hmm. I will look for one when the time comes to get a new air pump.
