I bought my CAE last year thinkin it was a Oto (big mistake), it has now grown to just over 2 inches and it has become aggressive. It chases my Peppered Corys, will ocassionally chase away some of my Rams and it's a pig. My fear is that as the CAE grows it will only become worse and end up doing serious damage. Sometimes I feel like bagging it into a freezer or flushing it down the toilet. What can I do about my CAE?

Find someone with a tank that can handle it. If you know of someone with a tank full of mbuna then I'd suggest giving it to them. You could also see if your LFS will take it in.

Unfortunately not a lot can be done to change the character of a fish and CAE's are well known for their 'bad' behavior. Your best option is to advertise it to see if someone has a tank that can handle him.

Yeah I had a CAE killed, suspect it murdered my gourami, also suspect it was plotting my own murder. I gave it away. The guy I gave it too said it tore up a bunch of his fishes' fins before it finally died due to something that got stuck in its 'craw'?? It would probably do well in a cichlid tank. I would try to find it a new home or find a lfs to turn it into.
