Thread: Froglets!

  1. Talking Froglets!

i recently rescued some tadpoles from the roof of the shelter i work at cause its like a hundred years old, and the roof dips in so there was a pool of water on it. some of the other people where saying that there were tadpoles up there so i just had to check it out! the poor things were in absolutely nasty water that was at least 90F! so im up there tryin to rescue all these things sweating my butt off! but i ended getting about 16 all in diff stages. ive had them almost a week now and some are already lil froggies! they are soo cute! ive been tryin to give them pinheads, havent seem them eat any yet...i think i might have to try and find somewhere to get fruit flies. considering they were on the roof im pretty sure they are gray tree frogs, even though they're really green at the moment... any ways i needed to tell somebody that would actually care! cause im excited about them but no one else i know seems to be! i figured you guys might share in my excitement!they came at a perfect time too, as i was setting up a terrarium to get some froggies! well thats bout it for now i'll keep ya'll updated!

They are so cute! Good for you for rescuing them- it must have been HOT up there! How many will you keep? What kind of home are you setting up for them?
