Python
Not only will my python not pick up my parrots poop, neither will my hand held vacuum. Perhaps I need one of those vacuum cleaners that can suck up a bowling ball?
I stick the vacuum right down in the sand and the poop falls out of the tube like the gravel does. Forget thinking of having white sand for these guys! Talk about some heavy duty poo.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Have you tried taking the large solid tube at the end off? Make it just one long narrow piece of airline tubing. Nothing that can't suck up.

I'll try that Nick but it will take half the day. LOL It looked weird yesterday after I vacuumed. I had a sink full of sand and a tank full of poop.

Your python shouldn't have any problem picking it up. Are you sure it doesn't have something stuck in it somewhere? The other thing, how high do you turn on the faucet when you are using the suction?

That is what I am thinking. When that happens at work either there are snail shells or java moss clogging the T-connector at the faucet or the water flow is too low (a kink in the tube somewhere, or someone turned off the water, idiots).

Water is on high and nothing is in the line. Picks sand up just fine and the food and other fish debris. Not the parrot poop. LOL

Well, I guess the only conclusion is that the Parrot finally got the lead out of his butt! LOL
