You asked about gravel depth. Here's a nice easy to use little chart.

    http://www.tropicalfishcentre.co.uk/Calc.htm

You don't want it too deep as it's just more to clean and 10 gallons can get pretty dirty. Just enough to anchor plants is good......1 1/2 to 2 inches max.

Very nice. How do you keep that 10 gal tank so crystal clear. Please list the filtrations you use. How often and how much do you do a water change?

    Nice tank.

I see you have some plant bulbs in there. are they aponogetons?

First off I have been doing 50% water changes every day but that picture was before I started that. But it was still very new water a couple of days old. Also i just have that ugs with the pump on one side and the filter on the other and also i have a aquatech 10-20 power filter. It was 20 bucks at walmart.

About the plants; I dont know the exact name of the plants but they grow to be pink lilly pad looking things. My ammonia is too high though and it killed them, so once i get my ammonia down im going to buy some more and have another shot at it.

    Good luck still looks good.
