Fishes Compatibility
I have a 55G freshwater tank. I have 6 gold fishes, 2 bala shark, 2 tiger loach, 1 Apple snail and 2 Silver doller in it. Is this a good combination from compatibility prespective?
Silver dollers are smaller than gold fishes. Bala shark is same size to gold fishes.
Tiger loach is the most recent addition, i see sometimes tiger loach is attcking gold fishes although tiger loachs are half the size of gold fishes. should i remove tiger loach from the tank?
I have a single Apple snail. i dont want to have snail outburst in the tank is there a chance that a single apple snail can multiply?
considering the size and number of fishes is the tank over populated?
Please help!!!!

You are trying to mix cold water fish (goldfish) with warm water fish. They can also get very large. Goldfish are sold separately in stores for a reason due to having different water temp requirements.
Bala Sharks get a foot long and will not work in your tank. Silver Dollars get around 5 inches and are social fish and need several of their own species with them or will be very skittish and nervous. Your tank will not work in it's current stocking.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Welcome to the AC!!
Now I'm sorry but there is a couple of issues with your stocking.
1 - Goldfish are coldwater, the other fish in your tank are tropical. They do not like the same water temperature. Also gold fish are pretty messy and need a good filtration system.
2 - Tiger loaches are aggressive. They are renowned for fin nipping and eating little fish. They also get kinda big 20+cm so I don't think your tank is big enough in the long run
3 - I don't think your apple snail will reproduce on its own. I could be wrong though.
4 - Bala sharks will get too big for your tank as well. They get up to about 35cm.
Now a few questions for you:
What filtration system have you got?
Have you got any live plants?
What substrate have you got?
But you've definately come to the right place to get your questions answered!!
And Hobbs beat me to the post button :)

Thanks a lot for a quick response Lady Hobbs
I will return Bala Shark to the store and get a couple of Silver dollers.
Also, i have a smaller tank 15 G which is empty right now, so i can put Silver dollers there
What are the other compatible fishes with Gold fish?
Also, can you guide me on following points:
Tiger loach is the most recent addition, i see sometimes tiger loach is attcking gold fishes although tiger loachs are half the size of gold fishes. should i remove tiger loach from the tank?
I have a single Apple snail. i dont want to have snail outburst in the tank is there a chance that a single apple snail can multiply?

What filtration system have you got? I have 2 water filters machines installed. each is having 2 sponges. The brand and make of filter is Bodygard 1600.
Have you got any live plants? No
What substrate have you got? I am not very sure of the term substrate. I have 5 Inches thick sand Gravel in the tank with a couple of Naturam marbal rocks

Returning the bala would be good but replacing with more silver dollars will not solve your problem. They also get large as well as your goldfish and you will still have cold and water water fish together.

I agree with all Hobbs and Gemini said.
Your tank simply will not work at its current stocking.
With only goldfish, it will work. However, I have to ask, what kind of goldfish do you have in there? Some goldfish will get too big for that size tank.

Hi Laddy Hobbs / Gemini / Nick Fish
As per your advice i have returned Bala Shark and Silver Doller to fish Store.
I exchanged them for 4 Gold fish. So now i have
4 Oranda Goldfish 3 Inches each
4 Shubunkin Goldfish 3 Inches each
2 Black Moor Gold fish 3 Inches
1 Apple Snail
Now, what should be the Ideal Tank temprature i should maintain?
are 10 goldfish too many for 55 G tank? or can i add few more?
I have 2 water filters 1600L installed. each is having 2 sponges.
For above setup what should be the frequency of filter cleaning and water change?
