You need to treat those guppies first. They can't be treated once in with the shrimp.
If you net fish with ICK, dip that net in a mild bleach solution before using it on others.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Gez you have no choice for now. If you had a small breeder box to sit inside your tank, you could put the fry in that but if not, they might get eaten. But, fear not. You will have hundreds more.

Prawns can get ich, so shrimps should too.
There is also a special crustacean ich too.Currently: Spotted Blue-eyes, two species of Australian shrimp, Ornate Rainbowfish, Guppies, Corydoras, goldfish.

I didn't know you would treat a tank with shrimp in it so thanks for the heads up. I suppose finding the proper stuff would take some doing.

Are you sure about this? Ich only affects fish.

Based on how the ich organism works, non-fish are immune to ich (as they require fish to live). However any non-fish (amphibian, plant, crustacean, mollusk, etc) kept in a tank containing fish with ich can perhaps TRANFER ich if relocated to an ich free tank.

if fish in a tank with ick has shrimps you just can't use copper based meds. Add salts, increase heat and that usually will help take care of things.
