Banjo Catfish
Hey everyone, there is some banjo catfish at the LFS near me. I really would like to have one but am unsure if it would go with my other fish. You can see what I have in my sig. It is fairly heavily planted with sand. From what I read they can get upto 6 inches and may or may not eat small fish(depending on what site I read) If anyone has had one of these guys and has some feedback for me that would be helpful.
Thanks,
Anna

It would most definitely eat the shrimp, but other that those, you should be ok.
It could possibly eat the neons if they venture too close to it's mouth during the night.Liters to Gallons conversion calculator

Thanks, I have been going back and forth on getting one. I really love catfish and want one, but most get to big or will eat everything that fits in it's mouth.
Take care,

One other thing to consider is that you very seldom will actually see a banjo cat. They stay buried in the sand all day and only will come out to forage when it is too dark to see them. I am lucky if I see mine for a couple minutes about once every two weeks.
