  1. Default What kind of moon lighting do you use?

I found some 12" neon tubes that i had from a computer project and i was wondering if they would serve as good "moon" lights? if not, then what would you recommend?
55 - 16 Malawi Chiclids, 3 Zebra Dainos, one Decorus, two Yo Yo's
    10 - 1 male betta, 1 Striped Raphael, 4 Cory Cats, 4 Ottos, 1 ghost shrimp, 1 Bristlenose
29 - Lionhead goldfish, 3 Fancy Goldfish, Common pleco
29 - Saltwater, still in the planning/building stage

I'm just putting a new hood together for my 125 using 3 12" cold cathode lights. I have seen people use these or some use led's. Personally I like the cold cathode better it gives off more even light.

I bought some lunar lights from big al's. It's not even light throughout the tank so it really gives the effect of moon beams penetrating the water...

I have two blue led night lights I bought at Walmart. I have a 36'' light on my 48'' tank. There is a led light on both sides. It looks really good and gives enough light to view the fish at night.
