Talking Pictures Of My Cherry Shrimp.!!!!!

Earlier today i saw this ad on craigslist. 50 cents for a cherry shrimp!!!! They sell those for 5 bux at my LFS... I was like Omg I wanna buy some. So i asked my parents if i could get some but they told me they didnt have cash... I was like nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remembered that I had coins in a plastic box thinga majjig... So i counted them and I was surprised that I had $13 in coins.. I got so excited after that... then my dad and I went to the bank to get them changed to bills. Then I went to track practice for 3 hrs... After that I went to the guy's place.. He was really nice! I was going to buy 20 from him and he was so nice he added like 9 more... So it came out to be about 35 cents per shrimp!!!! I got so lucky I'll probably buy crystal reds and yellow shrimps from him some day. He sells the yellow for 2$ and crystal reds for 3$. Man that guy was so nice.... I wanted to get more but I felt bad. He was gonna give me more free shrimps but I was like w/e they are going to reproduce really quick anyways...

Here are some pictures of my Cherry Shrimps. They are Juvies and I heard juvies adapt to water better than adults so yeah... Sorry for bad quality pics but I only have my phone to take pics...

And I'm not sure what this plant is called can someone please ID this plant? And does it need a lot of light???

    Thanks!!!!

    -John

lol...that plant is outlawed in this country ...due to it being an extremely prollific grower here and it tends to take over...as for the shrimp...I am sooo jealous...we are not allowed to import any fresh water shrimp as our ecosystems are just not set up for it...in the event of any escaping into our freshwater streams or estuaries..and the damage they could then cause in the banks....but I sure would like some...*S*

You can't use meds in the tank with shrimp now so be careful that only fish are in there that have no fungus or ick or you'll have to remove them to treat.
