Back Online!!!
YAY, finally. I got the old computer fixed. But in my vast amounts of extra time with the kids I watched a lot of movies. Went to see the rising waters quite a bit and now it's a muddy mess.

Glad you're back. Heck without a computer. Yes, Iowa is a tragedy. Another man-made mess.

Hobbs, a train bridge collapsed right by us to just last night. [URL="http://www.wqad.com/Global/story.asp?S=8552206"]Short article] The damage is still continuing. From Muscatine to Iowa City, it normally took 40 minutes. Until they opened up I-80, we had to go an hour and half to the north to HWY 20, head west 3 hrs to hit north of Des Moines, then come back on I 80 another 2+hrs just to get my sister who's apartment was in danger. She lived on a high spot so she didn't get damage, but she would have been stranded.
Ha ha, I know. He's not touching the thing. The guy said that it wasn't actually him. Just the fan and inside was so dirty and all the spy ware. He was just on it at the wrong time. But still. The kid is into our cell phones, remotes, calculators, our old digi camera all the time. He's going to be an electronics nerd.

I know the damage is horrible in Iowa. I've been watching as it's been heading toward St Louis. Unfortunaltely for some of the communities north of us, their levees have been breached and towns have been totally flooded. This means St Louis won't get it quite as bad but in and of itself it is still bad in areas around St louis. It's just such a horrible mess.

I heard something about St. Charles getting hit good. There's so many towns around St. Louis, I can't remember hardly any of them. My grandma grew up in St. Clair, so it's the only one I'm some what familiar with.
I can travel down I 44 from St. Clair to Joplin, having a relative no more than a half hour away. The apocalyptic vision of a criminally insane charismatic cult leader....
