American-flag fish
hi there,
i would like too keep a trio of these in my tank and was wondering if they would be ok with corydoras because i heard the male is very aggressive when guarding the nest and in a smaller tank, bottom dwellers wouldnt have much room to hide or get out of the way ( the tank footprint is 73cmx35cm btw)
thanks
p.s has anyone had any other experiences of them?
p.p.s :) anyone know what their lifespan is?

I have kept them before and loved them, greatest algea eater there is. I only kept females and they were in a 120 gallon community. They never bothered any other fish. Their lifeslan is very short, 1 1/2 years, maybe 2 years if your lucky. I had mine for 1 1/2 years and I would guess they were 4 - 6 months old when I got them.

flag fish
I don't think they will bother corys. I have kept them as community fish with no problems at all.
