dwarf riccia anchoring question
I got a few patches of dwarf riccia and was reading up on how to anchor it.
Seems the best method is to use a nylon mesh to tie it to a flat stone and let it grow to cover the mesh. I will try that.
Only question is, does it really "attach" to the stone or it simply rely on the mesh? Reason I am asking, is I have a bunch of small 2x2 unglazed ceramic tiles laying around, perfect size, flat, and I wonder if I could use them instead of looking for flat stones or buy riccia stones.
I even have glass tiles that are 2x2 and they are non-porous but would blend in nice.
