oscar breeding?

hi every one
i have a few oscars and was wondering when they would pair up they are fairly big i meen like at least 7-10 inches and they havent paired up is this normal dose it take this long to pair up and are they easy to breed?

Hi, well in that size they are able to do that but IMO they are not easy to pair up and breed. use some dither fish like convicts if you don't have already.

BTW, how many oscars do you have together? I hope there are both male and female between them! lol

i have 4 oscars together in one tank and 4 in another tank but there only small so they wont be breeding for a while.
how do u tell if there male or female?

Its real hard to sex em when there young but look for blu-ray's members photo gallary he has some excellent pictures that i found a massive help!
