Only $309! But what's money for?
And guess what? Big surprise! I went to get my R/O water and ...
...the lights were IN!!!!
I was expecting them to take much longer!
After a little conversation I also decided not to get any LR...I'm putting in a coarse aragonite base and then setting squares of egg-crate on top of it...that way I can move corals around...clean it easier if I have to...and also house larger corals like a brain...that do better on the substrate...
And it makes it easier to have a little clean-up crew of hermits in there too...

I would recommend skipping the sand in that frag tank. Sand is really only beneficial in display tanks where you can great depth to it for the de-nitrifying and nitrate absorbing capabilities. By putting sand in that tank, you will probably end up crashing it.
Put some LR and LR rubble in the overflow area and maybe a few other small pieces scattered around the main tank. I would also skip the eggcrate as it would make it harder to clean. The best thing the bare bottom tanks it that they are extremely easy to clean.
