i need to aquascape...
ok I have no 10 gallon picture for you...but I need to re do my scape. Anyhow how stressed will the fisharoonies be if I limit my time to 30 minutes if that long trying to get the stuff set? Or since I am planning on getting more plants this weekend wait until then?
So far I only have in there what you see in my sig line for plants. It is sparse at best. My driftwood has been in since the middle of may, I still have 2 clay pots but I am canning one. I was hoping to get some anacharis, wisteria, more anubias and maybe a moss ball.
Any thoughts on that so far? My light is in the low range but as funny as it sounds i have 1 stalk of anacharis I got from my sons school when they did their guppy project and it is still alive and kicking. Might even be growing some more.
Anyhow thats my thoughts so far. I hope to be able to get things 100% set before the 18th. I will be having back surgery then so I will be down for atleast a week. I hope the fish don't mind cuz I wont be able to "clean" the tank substrate. If anything it will just be a water change that hubby will P*ss and moan to do.

Sorry to hear about back surgery (we'll all be thinking about you on the 18th smooch).
What you have and are planning to add sounds great. I don't think 30 min. will stress out the fish too much but if you know you are getting more plants this weekend, I'd wait until you have it all and do it all at once.
I have a 10 gallon too (and while this is probably a little over the top for a tank that size) I took a picture of my existing set-up and then took a sharpie pen to it so I'd know exactly what was going where. It helped enable me to do the thinking and planning first so that when it came time to lower the water and start placing things I could just "get in and get out" so to speak.
Here is are my "after" photos.

Thank you for the kind words smooch and ladyoutlaw...you both just made my day :)
The rock formation and the wood were in there from day one, but when I switched to live plants (from plastic) thats when used the picture to plan my aquascape. I pulled it all out and put it all back in a bit differently to accomidate the new live plants.
I'm sure you will do a great job all by yourself :) I wasn't kidding about the pics...we all want to see them when you're done!10 gallon planted
